De wandelroute Centraal tijdens deze wandelroute staat de Tros Marets, een zijrivier van de Warche. De rivier ontspringt in het Fagne Sotay op de zuidelijke flank van het natuurgebied de Hoge Venen. Dit is het hoogste deel van België en door de vele regenval het gebied waar deze kleine riviertjes ontstaan.

Deze wandeling in de Vallei van de Tros-Marets is echt de moeite waard! De afstand van deze wandeling is een kleine 9 km. U bent zeker 2 tot 3 uur onderweg. Maar we raden u aan om vooral niet te haasten want de wandelroute is adembenemend. Deze route is heel leuk om te doen met wat oudere kinderen en natuurlijk kan de hond ook mee.
